Libava Hotel building at the Trade Canal was designed by the outstanding Liepāja chief architect, P. M. Bertschy, combining the two separate buildings at the edge of the canal. Prior to that two small houses stood apart and following the construction of a new bridge, both were merged into one, creating a beautiful celebration hall in the middle of the house. Libava Hotel is a great and popular place to host weddings, anniversaries, conferences for up to 150 people. Hotel guests also have an access to the bath complex and an outdoor terrace at a perfect city location.
A sauna and steam bath
The bath complex include a steam bath, sauna and massage bath, as well as a fireplace room for the guests. Bath complex walls contain old building’ s stone foundations, and its ceiling painting is created by the artist A. Plokšta, representing skies above the massage bath.
Event and conference rooms
The Hotel offers several rooms for organising various events. The luxury banquet hall, the cozy fireplace room, the interior garden room and the summer terrace at the edge of the Trade Canal.
