Summer is getting close, and very soon we will be able to enjoy the white sand of the Liepāja beach and a refreshing swim in the Baltic Sea! As usual, the beach season in Liepāja starts on May 15.
On both Blue Flag beaches (Central and Southwest beaches), lifeguards will work every day until mid-September, from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
There are several well-maintained exits to the beach. Wooden boardwalks, new footpaths, drinking water points, showers, bike sheds, changing rooms, benches, additional public amenities, garbage cans and SOS points – everything you need for a peaceful, safe and quality vacation on the wide white sand beach of Liepāja!
In the swimming areas, there are information boards about beach zoning, safety on the water, the importance of lifeguard flags, and procedures that visitors must follow.
