The Baltic Sea Cup motocross race has become a stable, high-level season-opening event in the Baltic States, annually bringing together elite riders from the Baltics, Scandinavia, and other countries. The competition will take place on March 15, starting at 12:00, at Moto Park “Lauma”, featuring dynamic races and top-class motocross action at the start of the season.
Recognised as the largest motocross season-opening event in Eastern Europe, the Baltic Sea Cup will be held for the seventh consecutive year, continuing to attract an increasing number of participants and spectators. In 2026, the event will be further strengthened through a partnership with the well-known motor oil brand Repsol.
This year, the competition will also be broadcast live on television by Sportacentrs TV and TV4, allowing motorsport fans to follow the event even outside the race venue.
The event is organised by Lauris Freibergs, a former European champion and World Championship participant. The competition takes place in his hometown, Liepāja, at the Moto Park “Lauma” track, which he personally designed and created.
The “Baltic Sea Cup 2026 Repsol Grand Prix” is planned with a strong and well-known lineup of participants, exciting battles on the track, and a wide programme for spectators throughout the entire event.
The Baltic Sea Cup continues to be one of the most anticipated motocross season-opening events in Eastern Europe. See you there!
