Liepāja Concert Hall “Great Amber” has become a symbol of Liepāja in the 21st century, highly regarded in Latvia and internationally. The grandiose building—an impressive, multifaceted jewel in the city’s skyline—is impossible to overlook. But what makes this concert hall truly exceptional is what lies inside. Guided tours offer a chance to explore the striking exterior and the rich interior.
During the tour, you will be guided through the Great Hall and other concert and art spaces, where around 400 current and future music professionals work and study daily. You’ll have the chance to step on stage and enjoy stunning panoramic views from the seventh floor. Along the way, you’ll also learn fascinating facts about Liepāja’s musical heritage, the concert hall’s development, its artistic program, and the venue’s many functions.
- Public tours take place every Sunday at 11:00 AM. During the summer season (June 1st to August 31st), tours are also available every Saturday.
- Tours are conducted in Latvian, but the guide adapts to the group and can also speak English and Russian if needed.
Tickets can be purchased at www.bilesuparadize.lv, at Biļešu Paradīze box offices throughout Latvia, or at the concert hall’s information center on the 1st floor. No prior registration is required—simply meet at the information center shortly before the tour begins.

- Can be booked on any day during the concert hall’s working hours
- Should be booked at least 3 days in advance
- Available in Latvian, English, and Russian
- Price for a group of 1 to 8 people:
• 25 EUR in Latvian
• 30 EUR in English or Russian
Additional participants: 3 EUR – 4 EUR per person (according to the public tour price list)
