The grandest beach festival in the Baltics, “Summer Sound”, which will take place on August 2 and 3 in Liepāja, is expanding its lineup of local and international artists. Added to the list of performers are: German DJ Robin Schulz, French electronic duo Ofenbach, Finnish sensation Käärijä, and many others.
For more than ten years, the festival held on the beach of Liepāja, “Summer Sound”, offers an unforgettable two-day adventure with music, dancing, relaxation, and the sea breeze. Before the ticket price change on April 22, festival organizers are enhancing the program by offering current world and local musicians.
At the main stage of “Summer Sound”, we will experience one of the most sought-after electronic music artists in the world – Robin Schulz. He is famous for his melodic and energetic house music hits: “Sugar”, “Sun Goes Down”, “OK”, among others.
Ofenbach is a French electronic music duo known for their playful and joyous melodies. Their most popular hits include “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes”, “Katchi”, “Love Me Now”, and “Wasted Love”. These songs have topped charts worldwide and have become classics for electronic music enthusiasts.
Finnish sensation Käärijä, with the song “Cha Cha Cha”, represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest. His energetic performance and dance rhythms won hearts around the world, and the song won first place in the viewer’s vote. Käärijä’s music, charisma, and energy will make you dance until dawn!
The music program is also supplemented by: epic party masters Bazzookas (NL), rap supergroup BANDA BANDA, unicorns with an extra stick – Citi zēni, alternative rock band Sudden Lights, scandalous rapper VIŅA, guys with ambition, sarcasm, and decent biceps – Pirmais Kurss, Mauku Sencis & Grandmasters Neons, Voiceks Voiska, Rīgas Modes, legendary Inokentijs Mārpls, PND, Čipsis un Dullais, All Day Long, Subscriptum, Bad Habits, Martas Asinis, Kerosene Kream (SE), Skier and Yeti (RS) Blody Heels, as well as Apēdājs. As the festival approaches, the program will be updated with new artist names.
It was previously reported that the festival “Summer Sound 2024” will feature party partisans Bermudu Divstūris, the largest rap group in Latvia Kreisais Krasts, the band Astro’n’out, city rock band Laika Suns and their comrades Satellites LV, as well as the Finnish ethno-techno ensemble Suistamon Sähkö.
Tickets for this year’s “Summer Sound” festival can be purchased on the website www.summersound.lv. Until April 22, a two-day ticket is available for a lower price – 67 EUR, and a VIP ticket – 200 EUR. Tent city tickets and camper spots are also available for purchase.
As usual, the “Summer Sound” festival wants to offer its visitors a variety of gastronomic choices to suit different tastes, as well as the opportunity to purchase crafts appropriate for the festival atmosphere, hence, food vendors and craftsmen applications are announced.
