Public administration institutions and associations have established a unified assistance system for providing support to Ukraine and its citizens. It is important that our assistance meets the needs of the Ukrainians and is coordinated!

Anyone who has the opportunity to help, please provide your information on the following sites:
- Tourist accommodation survey (in Latvian) on the possibilities of accommodation for refugees (information is compiled by the Ministry of Economics);
- survey of companies (in Latvian) who are ready to donate goods or receive refugees free of charge (information is compiled by the Ministry of Economics);
- survey of companies (in Latvian) who are ready to employ refugees (information is compiled by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency);
- population survey (in Latvian) who are ready to receive refugees free of charge (information is compiled by the association “I want to help refugees”).
A call for citizens who are ready to help not to go to border checkpoints individually, but to contact non-governmental organizations or public authorities that coordinate the provision of assistance and who will inform them where and what help is really needed.
As far as possible, we invite you to provide support by donating to the platform of the portal ziedot.lv: ziedot.lv/ukrainai
Thank you to the community and also to the people of Liepaja who are involved in providing assistance to the Ukrainians!
