The hotel located at the Square of Roses, opened its doors in May 2019, and occupies the building of the former famous Hotel de Rome. Back in distant 1882 its architect was the distinguished Paul Max Bertschi.
The hotel offers 28 design rooms with original artwork by Latvian artists. Each room at the hotel is lovingly designed and unique with a sense of space, color, design and light. Guests can enjoy delicious coffee and tea in the room.
Cafè “Beķereja”
From the early morning, the “Beķereja” bakers bake fresh muffins, cakes, bread and prepare great coffee to the locals and city guests. More information available here.
Event and conference room
Bertschy Hall was created in the historic cellar of the hotel, named after the outstanding architect of the building Paul Max Bertschy. The elegant room is 290 square meters big, and it also serves as an exhibition hall for the private Art gallery “Roms dārzs”, having a separate entrance and an elevator that connects it to the hotel’s reception.

In the basement of the hotel, the former wine cellars have been transformed into the private painting gallery. Big variety of art exhibitions and artworks by local Liepāja and Latvian artists from different time. More information available here.
